Operations Dashboard

Small Business

Operations Dashboard for a Local Business

Problem

A local retail business was tracking orders, inventory, and daily tasks across notebooks, WhatsApp messages, and memory. Nothing was connected, and the owner spent hours each week trying to figure out what was pending.

Solution

Built a centralized Notion workspace with linked databases for orders, products, customers, and daily tasks, plus a live dashboard showing today's priorities and low-stock alerts.

What I Built

Orders database with status tracking, inventory log with quantity alerts, customer directory, payment log, and a home dashboard with filtered views for daily operations.

Tools

Notion Databases Relations Rollups Filtered Views

Result / Impact

The owner now opens one dashboard each morning instead of checking three different places. Order follow-ups improved and weekly inventory checks take minutes instead of hours.

Second Brain System

Personal Productivity

Second Brain / Personal Productivity System

Problem

A university student had notes scattered across Google Docs, phone memos, and paper. Projects, reading lists, and personal goals lived in separate places with no way to review progress holistically.

Solution

Designed a connected "second brain" workspace with areas for capture, projects, areas of life, resources, and a weekly review ritual, all linked through a central dashboard.

What I Built

Quick capture inbox, project tracker with deadlines, course notes library, reading list, habit tracker, goals board, and a weekly review template with guided prompts.

Tools

Notion Templates Linked Databases Formulas Dashboards

Result / Impact

The student reported feeling "finally in control" of their semester. Assignment deadlines stopped slipping, and the weekly review became a consistent Sunday habit.

CS Final Year Project

Academic

Academic / CS Project Workspace

Problem

A final-year CS student needed to manage their capstone project: requirements, sprint tasks, documentation, meeting notes, and milestone deadlines, without losing track amid coursework.

Solution

Created a project hub inspired by agile workflows but simplified for a solo student: task board, documentation wiki, milestone timeline, and supervisor meeting log.

What I Built

Kanban-style task board, requirements doc template, sprint planner, meeting notes database, bibliography tracker, and a progress dashboard with milestone countdown.

Tools

Notion Board Views Timeline Documentation

Result / Impact

Project documentation stayed organized throughout the semester. The student could show supervisors clear progress at every check-in and submitted the final report on time.

Freelancer CRM

Freelance

Freelancer Client & Project Tracker

Problem

A freelance service provider was losing track of client requests, project statuses, and payment follow-ups, leading to missed deadlines and delayed invoices.

Solution

Built a lightweight CRM in Notion with client profiles, active projects, invoice tracking, and a pipeline view for new inquiries.

What I Built

Client database, project tracker with status stages, invoice log with payment status, inquiry pipeline, and a weekly revenue summary view.

Tools

Notion CRM Status Properties Formulas

Result / Impact

No more forgotten follow-ups. The freelancer could see all active work and outstanding payments in one glance, improving cash flow and client communication.
